Pub II in Bloomington-Normal

Definitely our go to place for a wide variety of appetizers. Lots of food for a great price.

They have pretty good cheeseballs. Nobody hit on me.

The most well know bar in the Bloomington-Normal area. Wednesday’s were the most popular day to go here as there is a drink deal for pitchers but it is often way overcrowded. My favorite day to go was on Friday’s as it is the great deal with the keeper cups and far less crowded than a Wednesday night. There is also nothing much better than eating in the beer garden when the weather is nice. This is a great place to go for a drink or food and to watch sports.

They have tasty cheddar/pepper jack cheese balls, burgers, and beer! There is a ton of room also a bar inside and out. Pub II is the perfect place to get lunch on a nice day.

Its a good college bar scene especially on Wednesdays. Good ppl, good music, good fun.

Went back after 30 years. It is still the same!!! The bartender was great. He provided beverages on the house because I came back to attend my mother's funeral. Very nice gesture!

Food is hot and delicious, customer service outstanding. I ordered the daily special. It's a Reuben sandwich that comes with chips & kosher dill pickle slice. I highly recommend Crawford's Pub in Normal.

Dive bar food, cheap prices, good drink specials. Definitely for the 35 and under set tho. Very college-y

Outstanding bar food. This is a college bar with very reasonable prices and really darn good bar food. Frankly, I ordered a salad and it was just OK. Luckily for me, not my diet, I was with a large group who had ordered most of the menu and we all shared everything. Everything fried was top notch! The cheese curds, southwestern egg rolls, wings, chicken tenders, fries, etc were all outstanding.

This place is where dreams are made. Young entrepreneurs share ideas over cold beers. They're known for Wednesday's Pitcher Special but insiders know Tuesday's are the best special night. Friday happy hour is always worthwhile. Any sporting event is better when watched on the TVs at Pub 2. The staff are humble and kind. The owner is hands on and regularly helping out around the tavern. Gorgeous beer garden, and a great place for kids.

I've never had any issues here. I love coming here for the cheeseballs and drink specials with my buddies. I came here for a buddy's 21st and when he had one too many, he got sick on the table. The staff were friendly and helped us get him out and get everything cleaned up.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Went yesterday wanted to get cheeseballs. The bouncer at the door looks at my friends ID and says it doesn’t look like her. Not unusually right? Mind you were all 25, probably the oldest people in bar. What’s super weird is instead of the bouncer just turning us away. He GOOGLES my friends address on her ID on his phone and then proceeds to ask her what color her house is. So now this random WEIRD GUY has my friends address on his phone FOREVER. Is he a serial killer? Who knows guess we’ll find out. Completely unacceptable and I will be contacting management.

Decent bar with great prices on the drinks.. it's not your overly crowded college bar with kids out of control. Great for grabbing a drink with your buddies

A fairly typical sports bar and grill by the campus of Illinois State University. If you can take the din of multiple televisions running sports shows and the outbursts of half-drunk young college boys randomly bawling out yells and roars at the TVs, you might be able to enjoy some pretty good food, including quite tasty fried mushrooms, broccoli bites, cheese balls, and mini tacos. The burgers are pretty good, too. Parking us woefully limited right by the place, so you'll probably have to park around the corner at the Ace Hardware.

I ordered a grilled cheese and it didn't have cheese! Server took the food back and it was corrected. Food was not good. Hamburger was overcooked. Pretzel bites undercooked. Server was fantastic!

Solid place to hang out and eat in the beer garden when it's nice out. Smells like a frat basement in the winter.

It's really more for the college age crowd, if your older than 25 it's probably not your speed. They do however have delicious food! Just be prepared to feel real old if you go here. And probably best to avoid weekends and school breaks cause the line extends around the block!

Very popular college town bar. Great comfort food, very good drink selection, great specials and cheap process in general, and home of Jake's khakis (it's Jake, from State Farm)

Absolutely great place. I've been twice, and unfortunately today was because of the celebration of life for John Rokos. I didn't know him personally, but he's part of my wife's family, and I can see how much he meant to the people in the area and to his family. Go to PUB II if you want to feel like family.

Great cheeseballs and the beer was cold

A local favorite for everyone in the uptown area - college students to retirees love the inexpensive bar food, served by friendly staff. Daily specials are in the $4-5 range for a sandwich and chips. Lots of seating: booths and tables and high tops. Big groups like the second room. The patio is a favorite for reunions of all types in the summer.

Nice place for drinks and food. Service is good. Place gets really packed during the school year even if it isn't a game day. Could be a bit cleaner. They place is pretty well known around town and is basically a landmark.

Great lil sports bar. If you are looking at the menu just be aware the pizza "burger" is NOT a burger. It is a fried up dry piece of chicken with breading (so aweful)

It's a college bar, so be prepared for a much younger crowd (at least when school is in session). Food is good and they have good drink specials. Only mark against the Pub is the bathrooms get in pretty rough shape during busy nights, but overall still 5 stars.

Always a Good Time. I has the beef brisket and it was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. The beer was ice cold with a wide variety available. You should stop by and have a drink and some chow.

Twenty years ago as a poor college student I remember the food here being okay and the beer prices good. Well, having gone there on a recent visit I can confidently say the food sucks and the beer prices are okay. I treated a friend to lunch there because the alternative was McDonald's and he is not a fan of fast food. Half way through the meal he told me "we should have gone to McDonald's". Nuff said...

Bar where all of the college student's hang out.

It's a good bar for cheap beer and darts. Our server last night basically ignored us completely. But we still had fun, just had to go to the bartender for our drinks.

The Pub (don't say the 2 to sound more like a local) is a BloNo institution. Cheap beer is cheap, the place is usually packed especially on Wednesday. The food is edible at best except for the cheese balls which are great. Quintessential college bar for fun.

Great drinks, service and excellent food. My friend and I haven't been here together since 1993! It is even better now than it was then.

Food was good weird you have 2 different tabs if you are inside or out side

Waitress sat on her phone our entire visit. As well as the rest of the staff except the other waiter Appetizer came with meal. Not hating I know how hectic serving can get and how busy places get, but the place was empty.

I always love a chance to stop by here during my visits to the area. The pepper jack cheese balls are amazing! Beer specials are on point.My favorite food here is any one of the appetizers. Cauliflower bites, fried zucchini, chicken bites are delish!
